He's not in the best health these days, but he still manages to go out once in a while. Supposedly he gets lunch daily at one of the local athletic clubs.

Stan passed away over the weekend. He was truly a good person and of course his baseball career is legendary.

the cards have had a few pretty good players over the last three or four decades, but i don't think that anyone has been able to get over the bar that stan set, both as a player and as a man
