What (and where) is the best vacation you’ve ever taken?
Near or far, what has been your best vacation?

Some of the most fun and most memorable trips I have taken where spur of the moment road trips down the coast of Washington, Oregon and then California. So many beautiful places to be discovered on the coast.
Also, I really enjoyed a trip to the Bahamas, its so lovely there.

Six unforgettable weeks in Brazil in 1997. Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana Beach and a helicopter ride above the city.

Some of my bucket list places on your list for sure heretix. I did take a helicopter ride over the coastal mountains once, it was really something. I had forgotten about that.

Hawaii Was good last summer. I may go to Italy this summer. Or France maybe. I have been looking at the prices of some of their castles. They're surprisingly affodable

I have been to alot of beautiful places, but there is just something really relaxing, low key, fun and amazing about Myrtle Beach, SC. Used to go there as a child with my family all the time, and took my own daughter a couple years ago. I just find it laid back and love it there! Even better than Cancun. Myrtle Beach is my fave... smiley-vault-character-104

My most memorable vacation? The Bahamas. I went on a midnight wine and cheese cruise, fell in love with the captain, and ended up living on his sailboat for about 8 months, sailing in the Bermuda Triangle, and working for the Bahamas Air-Sea Rescue. Time of my life.

Both. I lived for a good year in Brindisi (southeast) and for some months in Bergamo (extreme north). I normally go to Bergamo a couple of times each year and visit Brindisi with some years' interval. I have family both places.

If you find yourself in Paris, you must stop at Maison de Thé Mariage Freres. Best tea on earth. It's the tea that's served only in first class on many airlines. It's really hard to find outside of Paris. You don't usually associate France with killer tea, but there you have it. I recommend you stock up on Marco Polo and Opera tea.

There is not much I enjoy more than summer here in BC, walking along the beach on a sunny day.

No. But I would rather it be by private watercraft.

Two weeks in Hopetown Bahamas. Very laid back & not a tourist trap. No cars allowed. Just walking & golf carts.
Lucerne Switzerland was amazing too but the flight was really long.

My best vacation was in 2008 when we spent a week in London, Paris and Rome.
