My local waste management authority is forcing over time each home to replace standard toilets with water savers. It ain't saving water it's increasing water use as it takes three to four flushes instead of one. It only can work for people who don't make 'solid' waste to flush. Yet another politically correct and very expensive effort to save water which only increases water.

While we are not "forced" to, there is a program where you can receive $100.00 from the city if you upgrade your toilet. The one I have has a choice of a number 1 and a number 2 flush. No explanation needed... I hope.

The owner before me put in the contractor grade toilets. They suck. I replaced them with toilets that have a three inch outlet. I unrolled about a third of a roll of paper into them before the plumber left. it all disappeared. They are significantly more expensive. But worth it.

Someone needs to invent a demolecularizing toilet. Sort of a "reverse replicator" where instead of creating something atom by atom, the "product" is the removal of stuff, atom by atom.
