I realize not all of us are Americans. We here in the states are celebrating a national holiday to give thanks.
Thanksgiving is that day for us to remember how fortunate we are. We in the west are particularly well off. Even those of us with less are not unfortunate by the worlds standards.
So join this American in telling us what it is that you are thankful for. It is a good thing to reflect upon.
I for one have lived a good life, one might say a charmed life. But the things that I am most thankful for have nothing to do with my socioeconomic standing in life.
What I am most thankful for is the relationships I have with the people, and other living things in my life, the love and laughter shared with these beings.
I am thankful for all of you that I have had the good fortune to have crossed my path on my journey to oblivion.
You all have made my trip so much more pleasurable.
Apple, you have been a new and wonderful friend. I cannot aptly describe the joy you have bestowed on me. Words fail me.
I hope the rest of you will share some of what makes you feel fortunate.

Happy Thanksgiving Sniper, I hope you enjoy your day with your friends and loved ones. They are in for a treat. Not only do they get the pleasure of your company but you're feeding them too???!!! SO LUCKY  Its not turkey day for me but I am always thankful for the many great things in my life. |

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know everything, for it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.  |
