All i know is what i witness on the streets daily. People staring at screens whilst walking, some with headphones on. Sometimes both.
Wrapped in their own little world.

Like zombies, I almost hit one not long ago. It was raining and dark and he was wearing all black with his ear buds in and his face glued to his phone screen. I did notice that in Italy people don't do that, they'd be DEAD and it would be their fault. Not here though....

I think it is addiction which makes people sad. Everything in moderation is best.

True Dom but it is very short lived unfortunately. I speak as an ex sugar addict. The withdrawal symptoms are sometimes not worth the addiction.

Addiction can make you very happy too. I think not. Addiction is chasing something you can never achieve, no happiness there. What if the addiction is under control and is not harming the addicted person or others they are connected to in a physical, mental or financial way ?
